About the Blog

If you haven’t already read my About page, it will provide more insight into my background and my real estate investment strategy.

Since I am still relatively new to the investing game, with 7 deals under my belt, I wanted to create a blog to 1) keep me accountable for my plan and goals, 2) share information amongst other real estate investors, and 3) create a good resource for new real estate investors.

I have a lot of information to share and ideas to get feedback on from the community, so it will be a learning experience, insightful, and a lot of fun. With that said…or written, here is what you will find in this blog:

  • Marketing for deals
  • Seller lead analysis
  • Evaluating the deals
  • Financing the deals
  • Rehab details
  • Working with Virtual Assistants
  • Creating efficiencies to reduce my time working in the business
  • Real Estate Investing Resources
  • Interviewing other Real Estate Investors
  • Sharing news related to Real Estate Investing
  • Also, check out my Facebook page

I want to make this blog as open as possible so I welcome you to ask questions and share ideas in the comment section below as everyone has different experiences and opinions.

Well, there you have it; my first blog post and an outline for the blog.  Let me know if there are any specific topics that you would like to see included, any challenges you are dealing with right now, or recent hurdles you have overcome with unique solutions…

I’m still in the grey area of getting enough impulse in my mind and heart to jump into REI. Only the fact that you’re operating from Boston already answered one of my doubts-

    – Is it possible to make it happen here in MA, as I perceived that most investors( on a real estate guru course I’ve been checking out) are from either Florida, Texas or somewhere Northwest.
Thanks for your iniciative, it’s going to be greatly appreciated here.

    • Hi Luiz,

Yes, it’s definitely possible to invest in real estate in Massachusetts. There is a lot of competition in our area so you need to network with other investors and be creative about finding deals. Every area contains homeowners that need to sell their properties, it’s just a matter of getting in front of them first and have the ability to provide a solution to their problem.

I think you see a lot of gurus in areas like Florida and Texas because the home prices in those areas were heavily affected by the financial crisis and the barriers to entry (mainly the cost to buy a home) aren’t as challenging. As the real estate market stabilizes, real estate investors will have to resort back to the basics to find deals (i.e., network, marketing, etc.).

      I hope this helps.
